壯闊台灣聯盟的基本任務，在於促進負責任的公民與政治。我們相信，深化政府與公民彼此的信任，是鞏固國家向心力的重要關鍵。
公共服務和對彼此認同是強化公民意識的方法。這是壯闊台灣聯盟創立的初衷：為公民提供公共服務的途徑，以及提供緊急應變訓練，讓社區領導者和志工擁有足夠的知識、資源與組織，在社會最需要幫助的時候，有能力投入保護自己的家園。
同時，我們也力求有建設性的政策辯論，特別是與台灣國家安全和發展密切相關的主題。我們彙集全球相關領域的專家與意見領袖，一起應對共同的挑戰。透過公開的對話和誠實的反思，我們希望創造社會共識。
面對持續加深的社會對立，我們要在行動與思辨的共通基礎上，增強國家韌性。因為：缺乏思想的行動是魯莽，但缺乏行動的思想則是無效。

We seek to build solidarity in confronting Taiwan’s most pressing challenges.
Forward Alliance works to promote responsible citizenship and responsible politics. We believe that deepening trust in public institutions and in each other is essential to solidifying national unity.
Citizenship is strengthened through public service and shared identity. This is why the Forward Volunteer Corps was created: to provide avenues for citizens to serve, and to offer crisis response training so local leaders and volunteers have the knowledge, resources and organization to help their communities in times of need.
We strive to facilitate constructive policy debate, particularly on subjects that affect Taiwan’s security and prosperity. We bring together subject matter experts and thought leaders from around the world to address common challenges. We hope to create consensus through open discourse and honest reflection.
Faced with increasing polarization across society, we can enhance national resilience by finding common ground in both action and in thought. Because action without thought is reckless, and thought without action is feeble.
